I have chronic fatigue and I'm looking for a primary care physician in the Los Feliz, Silverlake, Glendale area of Los Angeles (I live in Los Feliz Village). The reason I'm looking close to me is I'm getting sicker and sicker and can't depend on being able to drive far in the future. The doctor does not have to be an expert. Just a primary care physician who is also sympathetic and knows something about chronic fatigue.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Dr Chia is an infectious disease Dr in Torrance who sees many CFS patients. i believe he looks for different infections in CFS. i am hoping to see him soon.

he is not involved with the FFC.

i think he takes insurance too.

    Dr John Chia

    23560 Crenshaw Blvd., #101
    Torrance, CA 90505
    (310) 784-5880

if you can get to see him, maybe he can refer you to a primary care DR in your neighborhood since he sees so many CFS patients.

i believe he does take insurance.

    Hi Andrew,

I currently live in the west end of the San Fernando Valley so I know how long a drive it would be to get to Dr. Chia in Torrance.

Try doing a Google search on hospitals in your area - Glendale Memorial Hospital, Glendale Adventists Hospital and Verdugo Hills Hospital. There may be doctors listed at those hospitals that specialize in CFS. They might be Infectious Disease specialists, Endocinologists, or General Practitioners.[This Message was Edited on 11/07/2006][This Message was Edited on 11/07/2006]
