Has anyone else lost their sense of smell during the time they have suffered from CFS?

but when I was at my worst with it several years ago, I completely lost both my sense of smell and taste for several months. (The good news is that led me to lose 25 pounds.)

A very difficult symptom to deal with. I hope yours improves soon.

    Best wishes,

I have lost my sense of smell for nearly 10 years now. Just occaisonally it returns a little for a few seconds. I'm sure the same virus is responsible for both conditions.

yes, I have intermittent sense of smell. Often it goes away for months and then suddenly one morning I'll notice that I can smell my shampoo in the shower :)
