Loss of smell -- Re: earlier post (zinc)

    For those of you in the earlier post about losing your sense of smell . . . I just read Carla's post on pH and it mentions that a deficiency in zinc can cause that . . . (I'm sure there could be lots of other causes, but just thought I'd mention it) . . . also, zinc is supposed to be really good for the immune system. Terri

    I have FM, not CFS, and do not have a problem with a sense of smell, in fact mine is so acute that I drive everyone nuts with the things I smell that no one else seems to be aware of.

    I do take Zinc, its one of the main ingredients in ZMA.

    I read a post earlier where some people were having problems with no sense of smell. I have a very sensitive sense of smell . . . almost "bionic" at this point, so I wasn't suggesting we all can't smell . . . just saw the info in the pH article and thought of the people who mentioned this earlier.
