Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?

I haven't been here in quite some time. For several years my FM was well controlled with just 2-3 flares per year. Lately my FM has been very active and I'm looking for new things to add.

My current doc seems to be wedded to Lyrica and I really don't want to try it. The weight gain and edema issues with it are off putting to me. I also find it worrisome that so many have to keep increasing the dose to see an effect. Savella seems to have better success, but I have PVC's that are being treated with a low dose of beta-blockers, so the potential increase in heart rate side effects are unacceptable.

The LDN study out of Stanford looked promising even though it was in a small group of FM patients. I was wondering if anyone here has tried it or is currently on it and what your experiences have been. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
