    Hello,

For those who are taking Lunesta, a known side effect is that nasty bitter taste which can last days for some can now be thwarted.

I read in Fibromyalgia Network Health Journal that wrapping the pill in a piece of bread before swallowing.

I forgot to try it myself, but if it works I'll let you know.

Thanks for the info - I have Lunesta but did not take it because of the talk about the bad taste.

I like Ambien and recently added a "tad" of Klonopin.

Thanks for the tip. I use lunesta and notice the metalic taste about 30 minutes after swallowing it. For me, it goes away sometime during the night.

It's not something I notice at all the next day. I kind of use the matalic taste as a guideline : telling me the medication has started to kick in.

I'll try wrapping it in bread tonight. I hope it works. Even if I don't find the taste bothersome, it'd be great not to notice it at all.

    Take care,

    Elsa
