Has anyone who has been diagnosed with Lupus experienced bouts of extreme thirst...I cannot get enough water yet it is driving me crazy because I'm living in the bathroom as a result. Is this related to Lupus? Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I see my doctor or will this simply be...a live with it symptom...

you may be dehydrated--but not in the traditional sense. do you crave salt? because salt cravings can indicate dehydration which triggers thirst. i am thirsty all the time since cfs-fibro---i drink all the time and my skin still looks dehydrated ---and i never stop wanting water. i suggest you read the book--your bodies many cries for water.

There is another auto-immune disease that often occurs with lupus called sicca syndrome or sjorgens disease. It can occur alone too. It causes extremely dry mucus membranes throughout the body. There is a blood test for it. maybe you should ask your doc about it and also rule out diabetes.
