Does anyone know a lyme disease specialist in the Los Angeles area?
If you go to this link: http://www.lymebook.com/insights-book-connie
You'll find that most of the contributors to this book (listed on the left hand side of the web page) are in Ca. I don't know my California geography well enough to know what part of Ca. those towns are except for San Diego, which is relatively close.
I'm an anti-abx guy. If I lived on the west coast, I'd fly up to Bellvue, WA and go to Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt. He is supposed to be the "capo di tutti capi" as far as homeopathic docs are concerned. My understanding is that he has had good success treating Lyme. Even though I'm in the opposite corner of the country, I am still considering going to him.
If I do, it's goobye, life savings though. I heard he's very expensive.
google lymenet-go into flash- put request on doctors section- that is another option.
Dr. K is alternative/integrative but I'm told he does also use abx-maybe not for everyone.
To find a Lyme literate MD (LLMD) you can go to lymenet.org...click on flash discussion...sign up for free....click on the Seeking a Doctor board and click Create a Post. Then create a post asking for a LLMD in the Los Angeles area.
You will receive a private message with names.
Take advantage of their great Medical Questions board and general support board too.
You can also go to lymenet.org and click on Support Groups on the left side of the page....then click on United States...then California. You can contact the support group in your area for recommendations/names.
Hope you find the help you need!
