Lots of info on the net about LL. You are right about his age. He is 84, according to Wikipedia, and was in prison for 6 years for mail fraud.

He has run for President several times. His critics say he is anti semetic and leads a cult. He admirers say he is brilliant and unconventional.

As somebody, Dorothy Parker?, said about Einstein, never dated him myself.

    Hi Connie,

You might find the websites below useful about LL. I found them on the search engine "dogpile.com", which is a compilation of several search engines, such as yahoo and google.

http://info-pollution.com/deplet.htm "Ozone Depletion Is Good For You"
I never knew that! ha ha

http://www.ex-iwp.org/docs/1975/Critical%20Practice.htm This website gives detailed info about Lyn Marcus's (Lyn Laroche's real name) background. Quoted directly from the website: "I have highlighted sections of particular interest in yellow (please note the sections on "mind control" and the incredulous racial attitudes with regards to minorities)."

Knowledge is power that's for sure. I had never heard of him before!

    Warm regards,

    Hi Connie!

One website in particular, http://www.ex-iwp.org/docs/1975/Critical%20Practice.htm was very eye-opening. If you look at that website in detail, I think you might understand why many people were so turned off by him. It gives a detailed view "The History of Lyn Marcus", which is Lyndon Laroche's real name.

When you get to that website and scroll down to the highlighted points in yellow, you will see areas that are particularly troubling about him. The bottom line is that he was amazingly racist, and people were turned off by it. I don't think people had any issues with the political party he represented, but America was founded on the principles of religious and racial tolerance. LL's views were completely opposite of these principles. That's why his political career in America never went anywhere. Hope that explains the American perspective a little better.

    Have a great day!

    Kind Regards,

    Erika
