Does anyone take lyrica for headaches? What dosage?

I have 24/7 muscular (NOT migraine) headaches. Massage, chiro and many other "things" are not helping. Valium is the only thing that's helped so far but now I'm dealing with side affects.

Neurologist thought headaches were due to fibro. not neck damage.

Many meds and supps. have made my headaches worse.

    about your headaches.

I often get "occipital" headaches. Occipital, in case someone doesn't know, means the lower back part of the skull, just before you get to the first neck vertebrae.

I absolutely DREAD those headaches. And it's not migraine. I think it's probably muscular because alone with FM I have chronic myofascial pain which has trigger points. And my neck is loaded with trigger points.

Sometimes, as weird as this sounds, it's almost like the opening in my skull is too small for my spinal cord. That sounds absolutely outrageous, but that's the feeling I get from it.

    Love and hugs.
