Over the past few years my cholestral has read at a high level and I have been taking lipitor but it still reads at the same high level. From what I have seen and read it appears that many FM CFIDS patients have high cholesteral readings. Does that mean we ACTUALLY DO HAVE high cholesterol or could this be a high reading because we have FM? My cholesterol prior to this was always on the low side. What are your thoughts? Anyone else with high cholesteral not responding to treatment or all of a sudden becoming high? I say all of a sudden because: All of a sudden I am allergic to everything that grows between spring and fall; all of a sudden I have IBS; all of a sudden my bladder leaks; all of a sudden my thyroid is out of wack! See what I mean about all of a sudden? I used to tell my doctor I thought I had something that was going around and attacking different organs in my body - randomly.
