feel that my pain managment is under control. I have soma for muscle relaxant too. Ambein for occassional use. Doc just gave me a script for neurontin...hesitant to start any new drugs without a second opinion. Just wondering what you give your patients for the sleep problems.
    thanks a bunch,

My PA-C just gave me a ten nights supply of Ambien. She says that's all insurance will pay for and all she's comfortable in giving anyway since it's a controlled med, a benzo. I have not read anywhere that it was in the benzo class, I thought it's in a slightly different class, where it was safer and non-addicting. She thinks otherwise. But at least she's giving me something....

I guess I'm lucky to get 10 nights of sleep. Sometimes I can do on 5 mg. so I actually can get about 15 nights/month out of it. But what's funny is I see so many commercials for Ambien and none for Valium, Xanax or Klonopin, which further makes me think it's not addicting and much "safer".

    Input?
