Does anyone know of a malic acid supplement that does not use apples as a source? I do not tolerate apples and all supplements I've tried with malic acid give me a migraine. thanks for any and all help! Leann

    Hi,
someone on this board (cant remember who, foggy here) told me to try Malic acid, my doc told me to get Super Malic Plus. It cost a lot..alomst $20.00 a bottle, but I got it and am going to try it. Hope this helps

There is only one source of malic acid, and that is apple. The word malic, comes from the word Malus, the latin/botanical name for apple, and basically refers to a substance found in apples.

I will quit looking for something that doesn't exist! Every supplement with malic acid gives me a headache, but then, so does eating an apple.
