I am looking for people who have tried Mangosteen for pain. One of my bosses uses it for arthritic pain and swears it helps.

Anyone? Please share the knowledge... :)

    Thanks,

    Karen

...she is not selling it and she doesn't even know I have FMS. I was just wanting opinions from someone who has taken it.

    Thank you,

it is similar to Noni. They are cox-2 inhibitor's, which seem to help most people with arthritis.

FM doesn't respond to cox-2 inhibitor's so if you only have FM, it won't do much.

I tried it, it helped a bit with energy, but that's about it.

If you have the money, give it a try it might help you, everyone is different.

    That is just my experience.

You might try getting the pill form online...I haven't tried it, but from what I have heard you can get it cheaper than the juice and it's supposedly more potent.

    Best of Luck,

Thank you both for responding. My boss orders it online and it was only $6.00 so I had her to order me some. It is in capsule form. I thought I might give it a try as I have some osteoarthritis in a few of my joints.

Hey for $6.00 I will give it a shot. It is called mangosteen RX. The instructions state to take it 3 times per day and it contains 90 capsules so...not a bad price for a months supply. I am interested to see if it does anything.

    Thanks,

    Karen

Just wandering around the local market here in Australia today, i came across a man selling "Xango" it is a blend of 75% Mangosteen, 25% blend of a few berrys etc, selling as an anti-oxident @ $60 for about 750ml bottle....wow, way to highly priced for me,he has a website.
    cliffpamment dot com.

I suppose it is like Noni juice etc and if you have the money to give it a try and it works, well all the better
and @ $6 you are paying I say go for it and I hope you get great results.

I wish you all a better day tomorrow than today.

PS, I had Kidney Cancer 20 mths ago, had the kidney removed and the cancer with it.
Last week my PCP found a skin cancer low down on my stomach, so have to see a specialist and get it sorted.
It just seems to be one thing after another hey....

I have tried the Xango juice. I bought it from my chiropractors office for $36 (1 bottle). It did make me feel like I had more energy, but then I had so much enery I could not sleep at night, so I had to stop. I figured it had some sort of caffine in it & since I am not suppose to have caffine, I stopped it.

    Karen,

I've never tried it but many on my lyme board swear by it and believe me, they've tried about everything.

I believe they take the expensive liquid form. I've checked on e-bay a couple of times and its pricey even there.

I'm taking Reliv right now and feel like I'm getting nutrients, etc., that my body needs but if I ever stop, I'll give the Mangosteen a try.

Like I said, many on Lymenet are using it and wouldn't be without it.

...thank you. I am trying Mangosteen RX in capsules for $6.00. I wouldn't be trying it if it cost more...the juice is way out of my price range.

    Thanks,

I am currently on my 4th week of manosteen (zango). It is pure fruit. Pulp, seed all of it. The best antioxadant U can take. Which attacts the "sick" cells and nurishs them. A friend was in severe pain from FM, within a month she could do things she'd hadnt done in yrs. I dont know if its working for me. Im trying alot of other things to. Alot of info on line under Zango and the brand from Cosco. Cosco's is half the price and double the potencey. Can U put a price on feeling good?? It's worth a shot. Try it for a month. The pill form is not the same. You are NOT getting the pure fruit.
