i have an appt. in April with a rheumatologist that my endocrinologist recommended. He said she's wonderful, and has a huge number of patients with fibro. Only problem is i called on Jan. 2 and she didn't have an available appt. until April. She practices at UMASS in Worcester.
If you'd like her name and number, just post your email address and I'll send her info along. I'm hoping she's good!!

I have been once to a lady doctor at U. Mass. Her name was something like Lui. Is she the one? If she is, she was okay, but not outstanding. She did take the time to listen. I went to her knowing I had Fibro. Thank you for the info! Hope your day is great! Deb

P.s. My sister has fibro and severe back pain and has gone to this doctor for years. She likes her enough to go back.

Thank you for the advice can you please tell me more about the 18 tender points. and yes she does need a better doctor she is seeing a rhematoligist but its in a public hospital, we lack the money to go to a private doctor. so far x-rays, motion exams and just asking questions is what we have gotten from that doctor. I'm happy for you not being bed struck, my mother was always up and down, moving helping running, lifting and now her coffe cup is too heavy, its so devastating. but anyways thank you again for the tips hope to here from you soon.

To live in Mass. Dr. Donald Goldenburg is a major researcher in FMS. Last I knew he was at the Tufs U.,See if he can see you or send you to the right place for your FMS.
