I'm curios about what medications everybody is taking for this illness and do they help?

    Zoloft - depression
    Ambien - sleep
    Vicodine - pain
    Soma - muscle relaxer

Do you mean for CFS or for FM? Or both?

I am currently, taking, Norco 10mg (which is Hydrocodone with less tylenol)
    I'm allowed 6 a day.

I also take Soma, 4x a day, for 3 Conditions.

Vistril, helps me with the Nausea, and also from the Histamind problem we can get, our body can make to much.
Just like with the Cholestrol, but I can't take anything for that.

I use Xanax, for Stress, and for sleep, dosen't keep me asleep, but at least I can Doze off.

I also have a Rescue Inhaler, Provenil.

The only antibotic that helps me, without problems is Zithromax.

I also use Moist Heat, do some water arobics, and walk when I can.
I am a firm believer in keeping the body moving, even if it means, my Walking back and forth in the hallway.
Keeps the Calf/Foot cramps at bay most of the time.

Are you taking the above, that you listed? I know that the Zoloft sure helped my FIL and my Brother is on it now, and likes it.

Good luck, and hope you find the right Combo for you.

I'm talking about medications for the Fibro only. Thanks so much!
