A friend of mine witth diagnosed cfs went to Mexico and got a 90 day supply of Doxycycline and pulsed them in 6 week increments. She seemed to be lots more mobile and energetic for about 2 months. Any thoughts? cracker bee

I took it for 2 1/2 years before I could stop it without my chronic mycoplasma infection symptoms' returning. A lot of people have been treated long term with Doxy for chronic infections without apparant side effects as long as good probiotics are included in the treatment. One good side effect is that the Doxy got rid of my IBS.

Even though drugs sold in Mexico may appear to be identical to what is sold here, I do not believe it is safe to buy them there. Doxy which is past the expiration date is very dangerous and should not be taken.

I hope your friend continues to improve.

    Love, Mikie
