    Hi All,
I did get my Kadian (morphine) reduced from 60mg(way too much!) to 20mg twice a day. I have had no nausea, no highs, but some constipation. I'm using Senecot S for that.
I feel I am more mobile and less achy. Although, right back facets are still troubling. Also, on some days I have actually not felt the need to nap!

I can use Darvocet for any break-through pain.
Both the doctor and nurse practioner, keep warning me that taking Darvocet long term can damage the liver. Kadian would be a better choice regarding the health of my liver as well as it being a slow release drug.
I have been on this dosage now for 1 week, so far, so good!!

Hoping for a good outcome with this combination.

Kadian, even at a low dose just knocked me out for about 30 hours, so I use the fast-acting kind which wears off overnight.

    Love, Mikie
