Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. When I do pull a muscle in my neck, or anywhere in my body for that matter, it doen't heal as fast as it used to. In fact a lot of times i have to get a massage or something like that for it to go away. It never goes away on its own anymore.

I was diagnosed with fibro about a year and a half ago and it has been quite a ride.

The muscle pain in my upper back is always present. That gets a little old cause it really hurts.

I do find that keeping active helps to keep me so I can move better.

    Thanks for any comments,

Dridlen, my muscles react the same way to injury. Once the damage has been done the problem lingers for a long time and/or becomes chronic.

I'm sorry you're in such pain.

    God bless,

More and more specialists are seeing a correlation between degenerative disc disease or damage to discs by accidents, and fibro pain. Be very careful with manipulations to the neck and back - if you have degenerating discs they can get worse with manipulations. Could be the reason you aren't recouping as fast! Definitely a connection between central nervous system disorder (fibro) and the spine! Good luck and good health!

Thanks for the replies ladies. I hate it when I hurt a muscle and more often than not, it becomes chronic. You are right.

I will be careful with manipulations, I did not know that.
