Hello, everyone. In the past I have come here and you have all pulled thru for me. I have had answered prayers and swear it was due to the prayer warriors on this board. Well, I need you now.

My 4 year old has been passing blood. Yesterday, it was alarming how much. He had an office exam, had his blood taken. Now we are waiting for a good pediatric gastro to give him a scope. They will put him out completely for the procedure, which has risks of its own. To get an appointment may take up to three months.

As a mom, I am scared to death. I have always been so blessed. Hearing about others trials has made me even more appreciative that my entire family is healthy and my babies are 'perfect'. The meer thought of something being 'wrong' terrifies me.

My son Jimmy and I need your prayers in all areas of this situation. His bravery, my courage and strength, his perfect health, the right doctors, the right timing. You all are so good at this. Please help me word a wonderful prayer I can say repeatedly.

I know a mother's prayer is the strongest. But I want God to hear more than me just begging. Your help, please, would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Darlene

when our little blessings are facing a trial. I am asking our Heavenly Father to comfort you adn your family as you face this. I will ask that He comfort your little one as he undergoes these tests.

Let him know he is being prayed for and is loved greatly...by the Lord, and by others.

Please know that I will be praying for little Jimmy and for you and your family. It is such a heartache to see a little one going thru so much at such an early age.

As a mom of 4 I feel for you.You feel so helpless when it comes to your children.I will pray that God gives your doctors the wisdom to find what is wrong with your son. And pray that it is something that can be taken care of with simple medication.

I will also pray that he gives you the strength and guidance to get you and your family through this and your son the courage to go through this trial.Children this small are very resilient.

My youngest daughter is a twin and had a lot of medical problems when she was younger and it's amazing how much better they hold up then the parents.

I will also put you on my prayer list for church. We have a soft heart for children.

    Love Luann

You guys are such a comfort. Thank you for your kind words and prayers. Right now, I feel like I'm arm and arm with the world. I don't know any of you in person and you don't know me either. Yet, you take the time to find the right words, to pray for my son, and to even do things like add him to your church's prayer list. This makes me strong and I owe it all to you guys.

I thank God for each of you.

I'm so sorry what you and your little boy are going through.

Thank you Lord that you suffered and died for us so that we might be healed. I lay claim to that heritage of healing which You have promised in Your Word and provided for those who believe, I look to You for a life of health, healing, and wholeness for Jimmy.

Father I pray that when Jimmy see's a doctor you would give that doctor wisdom and full knowledge and wisdom of the best way for him to proceed.

I pray that sickness and infirmity will have no place or power in Jimmys life. I pray for protection against any desease coming into his body.

Touch him Lord with your healing power and restore him.

    in Jesus name I pray

It brings me to tears just to read about this. I have two children of my own, one of whom is 4.

Lord, please wrap this family safely in your arms. Hold on tight to this little boy and his mama. Keep them safe and show them how warm and loving you can be. Bless the boy with an angel's kiss and let him come through this time with nothing more than something little and easy to fix. PLease Lord, give the mom a little bit of peace and let her find strength in knowing that her son is in your care. GOD Bless them all, Amen~

Thank you once again. I find so much strength in your words and prayers.

My son is still thriving. He has an appetite and is not passing blood at the time. We are waiting for one doctor in particular. Therefor the wait may be as long as 3 months. However, if at any point I feel Jimmy's life is threatened, we can take him thru the ER of Univ.ofMich. Then seeing that particular Pediatric Gastro would take hours to days.

I will continue to post on Jimmy. You all have been very generous with your time and prayers. Thanks again.

    So much love,
    Darlene

University of Michigan is a GREAT hospital for things like that.
When I lived in that area, my son was little and had several gastro problems and RSV and ear infections out the wazoo! We made more than one trip to that hospital to see a specialist. They were wonderful! Some of my family lives in and around that area and they use that place often.
I wouldn't HESITATE to take the lil guy there if you get worried!

God speed and God bless you both!

I just got home. There was a message from the doctor's office. I returned their call. Of course, the nurse was out to lunch. I am aching for answers, but understand that it is all in God's time.

Leanne, UofM IS wonderful. But I've only had experience with them as far an adult standpoint. They saved my adult-neice's life in their trauma unit (massive head injury). And I was seeing the director of urology for post partum problems after this little guy was born. When Jimmy was born, he came in like a storm. Things haven't slowed down much since.

I am relieved, Leanne, that you are pleased with their pediatric care as well. I know God would not put me anywhere that was not conducive to Jimmy's healing, or healing in general. (another reason why I visit this board on a daily basis).

Sandy, Lori and MonkeyKat, thank you for your prayers. You have managed to find the PERFECT words, not just the right ones. You help me feel strong.

(A prayer goes up for you, MonkeyKat, that God lays His Hands on you as well.)

I will repost after the nurse gets back from lunch. I just had to respond right now because I'm nervous and this is the place to be. You all make me feel wonderful. I thank God for you.

Thank you for your much needed prayers. (Della, I'm praying for you as well.) And for the record, I thank God for each and every one of you who are on this board. I once prayed for somebody to understand. It was shortly after that, that I found all of you.

As far as the message from the doctor, they had no results yet. All they wanted was to know what records to forward to the new doctor! Whew! Guess I jumped the gun and got scared for no reason. I have since slowed down and realized that what is, already is. God brought us to it, He will get us thru it. And as a bonus, he let me borrow all of you as friends for this lifetime.

Thanks again. Jimmy is doing well today. No blood. His appointment with the pediatric gastro is Sept. 1. Long wait, I know. But it's all in God's time. I have to trust that.

    Love,
    Darlene
