Take to the web for result explanation. I'm not versed enough to touch touch that one.

I spent my 40th birthday party with Roomful of Blues. Awesome! CactusLil'

I had posted this question before and gotten some answers
but, I'm a little bit confused still.
I got the impression that it could be borderline SLE.
Also, not quite sure what is considered Normal range.
    I'll have to post again........

Room full of blues? Is that a cd?

ANA stands for antinuclear antibodies. When the test is high, it shows that your body is making antibodies fighting off the nucleus of your cells. Please don't get discouraged. I believe yours is only borderline abnormal. The titer(yours is 1:80)doubles. It starts at 1:40 which is normal. 1:80 is a little abnormal, then the next possibility would be 1:160. I hope I'm making this clear for you. Mine has been extremely abnormal since 1990 and ranges anywhere from 1:640 and at times as high as 1: 5120!!!!I'd be thrilled if mine was 1:80. So, don't worry.

As far as the pattern: I know a diffuse speckled pattern is indicative of lupus or some connective tissue disease, but your pattern is diffuse/homogenous.To me it doesn't look like you need to be concerned in this area of your lab work, but it's always best to go over every detail with your doctor and ask questions. A good dr. will be glad to explain. I hope this has helped. Camry

The RA test shows if you have rheumatoid arthritis. I believe your result is normal.
