I went to the hearing and my attorney was very pleased and said I was "gridded out" with my age, (I am 56) and documentation that I had and it was for the Fibromyalgia! The judge was a woman and very business-like, just went through the procedures (hardly raising her voice, hard to hear her). I just had to give my name, etc. for the documentation. The attorney said the judge actually just wanted the vocational person, (who was VERY young) to just answer short yeses or whatever, but she almost didn't do what the judge wanted her to say and almost blew it for me, the atty said. But, in the end, it was ok. It may take up to two months to see any money. Does anyone know if student loans can be forgiven when receiving Social Security disability?
