As I've mentioned here before, I pray for us all every day. I have also found a lot of comforting calmness from meditating. It doesn't conflict with any religion. It has been said that when we pray, we talk to God; when we meditate, we listen to God. In Psalms, it says "Be still and know that I am God." When we still our minds, we can feel God's presence. When we are egaged in the hurly-burly activities of living, it is very difficult to feel God's presence. It is also good to get out in nature; it helps to calm the mind.

    Good to hear from you.

I have been reading so many books on Spirituality (Conversations with
God, Louis Hays 'How to heal Yourself' etc and the common thread
running thru all of them is that when one is still in body and mind, one
    finds God within.

I know some of us, well, almost all of us on these boards seem to have
chosen a very difficult life path for whatever reasons, its does sound
better to say 'to evolve, rather than 'balancing out our karma' because
we cant remember what all we might hav done to deserve any of what
happens to us. However, it provides me with the answer to the question,
'why'. When things get very tough, I can still remind myself, whatever
today might be, tomorrow is in my hands. Which 'tomorrow' ? Who knows.
All i know is every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and the fruit
of what i think, say, do today bears fruit for anther day.

Keeping that in mind, i pray regularly for all of us here. Trusting that no
prayer of mine nor anyone else's will go in vain. If not, today we will get
the answers tomorrow, or the day after that, or some other day.

    God Bless
