my eye has moved

    Has anyone had a sudden change in the position of one eye.
    Eye turned out overnight.
    Two days later it tipped slightly.
    All MRI normal.
    Blood work normal(slightly high tri glsrds)
    Off too UCLA in Aug.
    please let me know

    But I hope it doesn't hurt you. What has your doctor said about it? I hope you find out what it is soon!

    a "lazy eye" runs in my family. (the eyeball turns in toward the nose) The reason for this is shortened muscles which hold the eye in the proper position. I never heard of an eye turning "lazy" in later life but I would imagine that the cause is a sudden weakening of some of those muscles. The why behind it must be explored. You need to see an ophthalmologist immediately.

    Depending on the cause of the muscle weakening, it may be surgically correctable, as the congenital lazy eye is.

    Make an appointment now, before it gets worse.

    Thanks all.
    I saw the opthomologist...he has never seen anything like it (not overnight)
    He sent me to the neuro who sent me to my rhu.,who sent me to my fybro/pain md who said "when you have fybro, ANYTHING is possible.
