Monday evening my Mom went home to her Lord and Savior. She is at peace and out of pain at last. She was holding her first grandsons hand at the time of her passing.

She raised seven children and was a special "nana" to 15 grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

I want to thank all of you for your many prayers and blessings during her sickness. Her body could not fight no more so she went to sleep.

I know it is always hard to lose someone we love, but especially our mothers. I understand the heartache of losing your mom--mine passed away over 30 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her.

How wonderful though she was holding one of her grandchildren's hands when she started her new "journey".

Take care of yourself and your family and blessing to you all.!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, losing a loved one is never easy. Even when someone is really sick, it is so hard to say goodbye.

I will certainly be praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

I am sorry for your loss. I had the gift of being with my father at his passing. He, too, had been very ill and even in the terrible grief I felt, there was joy that he had been released from his earthly body and was at home with the Lord.

Keep youself open to the Lord during this time of mourning. Rely on Him for the strength that you will need. Remember to take pleasure in the everyday joys of life; your mother would want you to.

May you know and feel the comfort of Christ,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is so hard losing one's Mom. Mine passed away 1 1/2 years ago and I still miss her so much.

May God bless you and your family and bring you comfort during this sad time.

    Love, Mikie
