He's been pretty down lately, partly due to CFIDS and partly because he couldn't get a job. He's 19 and would love a job- well, today it happened! It's at an Arby's and the most fascinating part is that his manager has chronic fatigue as well! It came up in his interview: manager said, "Can you start tomorrow at 7 a.m.? And my son said, "No, that would be impossible due to my chronic fatigue." So the manager said he had it too and gave him a high five. Not exactly something to celebrate, but maybe they were glad to meet someone like themselves. I think it could be a good situation- the boss may be a bit more understanding than the "norms". Anyway, we're excited! Terri

both of you. I hope it works out.

I was lucky enough to work for a friend so my irregular hours were tolerated. I never could have stuck to a strict schedule.

Nineteen is such a difficult age isn't it? Trying to figure out who we are! Well, good for your son on his job. Good for him for speaking his truth!
