A Middle School Boy brought a gun to school to kill my Son and others.

I don't know what his deal is with him wanting to kill a 13yr old autistic boy with epilepsy.

He rides my Son's bus or he did, he wa took to the police station and he will go to alternitive school now.

I think he should stay in jail or a while or at least juvie.

I don't understand the way the system works.

My hubby is a bus driver and my aSon just wanted to ride his bus this morning because he has a little girlfriend that rides my hubbies bus.

I am so glad because he may have had plans to kill him on the bus on the way to school this morning.

He also rode my hubbies bus yesterday afternoon.

Needless to say I am freaked out!!!

Why my baby, he may have just looked at this boy the wrong way or said something the boy didn't like.

What scares me is tis boy knows where we live because he does ride the same bus as my son.

Also our dog was dead last weekend and he had blood coming from his mouth, so I now wonder if he killed him also.

Well please pray for us, thanks Pamela

I am so sorry this has happened. With all the violence recently in schools it is really scary.

Try to remember that your son is not the problem. It is the other boy who has the problem.

I think you might want to notify the police that someone killed your dog last week. They need to be aware that this boy may have more problems than they know.

    Praying for you and yours.

I am so sorry to hear about you son being threatened, it is awful. Your sweet son did not deserve to the threatened.

It is so awful the things that children will do know. When my boys where in school you felt safe sending them to school, you knew that they would be safe. I already worry for my Granddaughter to start school. She does not start for almost two years, I wonder how bad it will be than.

You, your son, and family are all in my prayers and thoughts. I am also sorry to hear about you dog.

    God bless; Pam

    Dear Pamela,

Reading your post just breaks my heart. I have taught kids for years as a substitute at the middle and high school levels, and I will never grasp why a few students lose all control like that.

I agree with Greenbeans7 that you might want to strongly consider contacting the police about this incident since your son rides the same bus as this other student and your dog was killed just last weekend. The police might have some good advice for you. Your family is in my prayers.

    Much love, Erika

OMG!! So sorry your family is going through this. I don't understand why he is not being put in juvenile hall for bringing a gun to school. Was his only punishment to go to alternative school? I hope he gets court-ordered counseling in addition to any punishment he receives.

I would report the dog incident also, you can't be too careful. Crazy things happen these days. I will pray for a positive resolution for your family. Take care, Kim

Why did he want to kill your son?

It could be something as "simple" as your son would be an easy target. Being autistic, your son probably wouldn't get that "gut feeling" that most of us would get that something wasn't right. Would your son recognize that this kid was weird?????

Why did the guy up at V. Tech kill all those students?

I don't think there is an answer that will ever make any sense. All those bright young adults who left this world before their time. How can anyone ever be answer the question "WHY"????????????????

Tell the police about your dog.

I'm praying for the safety of your family.

So sorry your family has had this stress of your son being targeted and for the loss of your dog. I would contact POLICE regarding the dogs' death, and also PUT IN WRITING to the school, about the dogs' death. I think putting that boy in Alternative School is potentially placing MANY lives in danger. If you notify the school in writing of the dogs' death, you begin a paper trail, and this may force the school to take your dog report in a more serious light. You obviously don't need to accuse the boy, but tell of the death, and timing to this other incident. Again, I'm so sorry.

Unfortunately, I think that there is pattern-profile in serial killers that begins with animals and moves on to people.
Sorry that this is happening to you and hope that works out well.
Sad that kids can't go to school just to learn, but need to watch backs, etc. Wishing you and your son well. Mr Bill
May still be possible to do autopsy on your dog.[This Message was Edited on 05/03/2007]

I think I will go to the police station and report about my dog. My hubby found out that this is not the first time that this boy threatend to kill someone, last time he did not bring a gun though.

    Thank you all, Pam

the resources of your community or family.

Have you considered getting an attorney and seeking a restraining order?

Is there another school you can petition the court to assign the delinquent to?

I guess I have alot on my mind because I forgot this.

When my son was a Freshman in highschool, another student evidently had threatened him several times. My son had not said anything to me, so I didn't know anything about it.

One day, the boy brought a butcher knife to school to stab my son. Thankfully, he showed it to some other kids at lunchtime. They told my son. My son told the teacher and the teacher told the principal. The boy was hauled out of the school in handcuffs by the local police. He was expelled from school on a permanent basis. I don't know what provisions were made for him.

I too was concerned about my son's welfare because my son walked to school. I ended up driving him for a long time after that.

How could I have forgotten this??? I guess with all my doctor visits, STAT medical tests, and one specialist after another---my brain is in overload.

I am so terribly sorry that you son had to go through this. The terror that this kid has brought to your family is unreal. I just don't know what has become of our society today. What makes young people so mean and cruel that they would want to kill another child, especially with disabilities.

This entire world has become unsafe and it so sad.

My sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your dog, too. This also has to frighten your son and keep him in a state of being scared.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Tragedy has hit our small town, too.

In just this week, a student at a local college committed suicide in front of his peers.

A local man who was on SSI parked in the local Social Security Office and called them stating that he was going to set the entire building on fire with all of the employees in it. When the police came, they found an empty gasoline can in his car.

A mother attended a school board meeting and brought a gun out of her purse and was waving it around. She "said" she just wanted to make a point of how easy guns can be brought into any function........
