What type of doctor could diagnose Mycoplasma Infection?

If you go to Dr. Garth Nicolson's website, you can find info on how to have this test done. Your doc can order your blood drawn so it can be sent overnight to the lab where the DNA test is done.

The blood must be very carefully handled or a false negative will most likely be the outcome.

Some docs are willing to just prescribe a cycle of antibiotics to see whether the patient improves. If improvement is seen, it is likely that there is an infection present. After six months on the ABX, the patient cycles off every six weeks for a two-week period. It can take years for the ABX treatment to work if one has been ill for a long time. I am now off the ABX and it took more than a year until I could successfully go off them.
