Anyone ever heard of using Namenda (Alzheimers med) for nightime use with CFIDS and Fibromyalgia????
Yes, I take Namenda a.m. and p.m. It has helped much with the brain-fog. I tried to stop it thinking I didn't need it, but got really stupid again, so went back on it. As far as I'm concerned, it's a winner.
Just wondering, do you take a med for depression along with the Namenda?
I think Rich Carson tried it a few years ago but it didn't help him. . . why are you specifying 'nightime use'? - I think, if I remember right, Rich Carson tried it to help him think better & be less foggy... is this why you're interested?
And of course, like everything we all try, some things work for some and not others. I would think it's worth a try.
If you're interested in trying to 'clear the fog', I'm going to make a separate post about supplements that can help. My son takes one formula (he has chronic lyme and a terrible memory/fog) and it does help.
all the best,
