namenda for pain

    HAS ANYONE TAKEN THE DRUG NAMENDA? IT IS A PARKINSON DISEASE DRUG AND WORKS ON THE CNS FOR PAIN. I AM IN A STUDY OUT OF CHICAGO ILL. FOR FIBRO THE RESULTS FOR THE FIRST PHASE SO FAR HAS BEEN YOUR METABOLISM IS CUT IN HALF!
    THE SUPRISING THING THEY DIDNT KNOW WAS MOST PEOPLE STARTED HAVING URINARY OR UTERUS OR BLADDER SPASMS OR SOMETHING ALONG THIS LINE PERTAINING TO URINARY OR GYNO PROBLEMS THEY HAD THIS IN COMMON IN THE BEGINNING.
    THERE WILL BE 3 STAGES TO THE STUDY. NO INFO ON HOW TO TREAT IT YET. I TAKE KLONOPIN TO SLEEP. WELLBUTRIN SR 150 TWICE A DAY AND WORK BUT STILL CAN NOT GO FOR LONG WALK OR
    SWIM WITHOUT FATIGUE AND PAIN.

    Sue:

    Do you have any new info on your Namenda trial? Did the drug help your pain levels? My husband was just started on this drug at his last FFC visit. So far, he says the pain has decreased somewhat, but he is still on the initial dose. Thanks for any info you can offer!
