I have recently moved. Can't find a doc. Anyone recommend a practitioner in this area? Have tried the Fibromyalgia Network and this site, but they either don't take my insurance or they are a long way. Appreciate help.

I don't know how far you are willing to travel, but the doctor I see for Fibro (he is a pain specialist) is in Scottsdale on 96th St. & Shea. I live in Mesa, east of Power Road, and with the freeway's, it only takes about 30 mins. to get there. Anyway, here is his information.
    Dr. Wayne Broky M.D.
    9630 E. Shea Blvd.
    Scottsdale, Az 85260
Good Luck in finding someone good! :)

I have pain but the fatigue is more my problem. But I will give the office a call. Don't mind driving to Shea. Thanks again.

I've been seeing Dr. Scott Rigden in Mesa for the past six years and he's wonderful. He follows Dr. Cheney's protocols for CFIDS and is very well-informed about new developments.

His number is (480) 820-4297. Good luck!

I've been going to Dr. Rigden for about 6 months now and have been pretty happy with him. He also has a website if you'd be interested in checking that out, it's

There is also a CFS/FMS support group that meets both downtown in Phoenix once a month which provides mostly information and other smaller sattelite ones that meet in various other areas in the Valley also once a month for more emotional support. Their website is

Hope this is helpful and welcome to the Valley!

I really appreciate the info. I called and they don't take my insurance, but I'm going to bite the bullet and do it. I have been very interested in some of the different protocals the experts use. Thought I'd have to travel to get the help. And thanks for the welcome to the valley. We love it here!

I didn't know if you meant to the valley or the board. Either way welcome. If you meant the valley, there are several doctors here that
people swear by for CFS, I can't remember his name but will try to find out, lives here in Mesa and wrote one of the books on CFS that
many people swear by also. He is very
hard to get into see according to a
friend of mine..I haven't gotten with
her awhile but I'll give her a call.
She's been to about every place here.
I personally would donate my pinky finger to get out of this valley, but
some love it. In July and Aug. I'd go
a leg! I REALLY dislike it but have
been here nearly 40 years. Hugs, Bambi

I guess its all what you have been living for years. I could care less about seeing and shoveling snow again. But I've been doing that for 35 years. I have met people here that would love 4 seasons. Not me. I have seen days where the days high was -10. I am so cold all the time that the warmth here will not be a problem. Even the summer months.

Would appreciate your research on a physician. I was so blessed by the one I had back east. Hard to replace.
