If you can't find anyone in Cincinnati, I'd drive the 90 minutes to Indianapolis and see Dale Guyer. He's expensive ($1,000 for first visit, $350 afterwards), but if you can afford it, he sounds like what you're looking for.

I don't know any drs. in Cincinnati, but that is my home town and it is cool to find someone else who is from there.I had moved to Alabama 5 yrs. ago and it sure is rural compared to Cincinnati.

But I was diagnosed in Cincinnati by a Dr. David Polen and I don't remember what type of dr. he is. He was from Medville,Ohio(?north, would have to be). There is an Rx man named James Lavalle that trained under Dr. Polen and I believe at this time he is a naturopath. He might have a practice called "Living -something" and he has also written a book about cracking the metabolic code. He did try his best to help me, but the CFS has a mind of his own.

I was diagnosed with a machine that reads your electromagnetic field, and that was in the early 80s.

That is as much as I know. I have searched for Dr. David Polen to no avail.

There should be (?)someone there by this time that specializes in FM. It is a big city.

    Good Luck !!!

I've got to second the recommendation on Dr. Janalee Rissover. I've been seeing her since 2004; she is a physiatrist or a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. I had seem a rheumatologist before then who I would NOT recommend. I was just approved for SSDI, I'm sure more for major depression than fibro/degenerative discs/arthritis, etc. but her office is great with all the paperwork. She works out of Mercy Mt Airy (Northgate area) except on Fridays, when she works out of Anderson township. There aren't enough good things I can say about her. Feel free to ask me any questions.
