Looks like my Doc wants me to go to a rheumatologist or a pain specialist. I live in Canby, and work in Beaverton, so anywhere around Portland, Beaverton, I-5 corridor would be great.

I live in Southern Oregon so to far for you but wanted to say hello and let you know that there is a fibro clinic at OHSU. Not sure how good they are but then I've not heard bad either.

My diabetis doc was telling me about it. But that's about all he said was that it is there and then told me that he doesn't believe in fibro.
Now figure that one out...tells me where to go...then tells me he doesn't beleive...

No wonder I walk around feeling confused all the time! lol

Someone should have a recommendation. There are several members from that area. I live in Hillsboro which is close enough but I have kaiser insurance so I would have different doctors.
I f you are interested there are a group of us who get together every few months. This saturday we are meeting at Shari's in Aloha at 1:30. 185th and Farmington. Sometimes there is a big group and sometimes 3 or 4. Either way its enjoyable.
Its nice to meet new friends, no one knows how you feel better than someone who is familiar with the pitfalls of this illness.
    Take care, stephanie

Dr. Kip Kemple. One of the ladies in our group sees him but I cannot remember if he is a rheumatologist or a doctor that treats FMS. Forgive me. Fog is one of my major complaints.
I have good intentions...just an empty head.

I'm sorry, but I don't have a Rheumatologist. When diagnosed my insurance was with Kaiser and I don't have a pain specialist. I go to the Portland Clinic downtown now
since my Beaverton Dr. is on leave. Sorry I'm not much help.
Best of luck - hope you find someone. Let us know.
