My family has always celebrated the secular part of Easter even though some are Jewish, atheist, Methodist and Greek Orthodox which is celebrated a week later than in the US.

I sometimes refer to Easter as Spring Holiday to celebrate Spring, rebirth, etc., but somehow that doesn't sound quite right.

    Any suggestions?

i celebrate easter with my religious family even though it has no meaning for me other than a chance to see my family and have fun. i wish them happy easter and they wish it back to me. its all good. same with christmas.

You make a good point. I guess the name does not mean as much as the meaning.
