This is my first time on this message board and I am hoping someone can help me. My wife, 61, has had fibromyalgia for quite a few years now. By mutual agreement we are filing for divorce. My question is: Can she live on her own or will she need live in care? Thank you. -Benjamin

That you are divorcing. How bad is her Fibro? Most people have varying degrees. My husband is a wonderful support in all ways. I am truly blessed that he loves me with all my aches and pains. I know that he would never leave me with this sickness.

With that said and not knowing what your situation is of course, your wife is going to need financial aid and lots of support.

She is on disability. We did discuss it and she feels she cannot. However I just wanted to know which is why I asked in the first place. Where can I start to find live in care for her? I appreciate it. - B.
