I finally got in with a Rheumy who has ordered blood tests.

Can anyone tell me what each test is for? Here's the list (right off of the Lab Request:

    ANA
    Anti-DNA (native, double-stranded; NOT single-stranded
    C3 C4
    CBC with DIFF
    CK
    Comprehensive metabolic panel
    ENA (anti-extractable nuclear antigens)
    Hepatitis panel
    IgA IgG IgM
    SSA/SSB
    Urinalysis without micro
    Vitamin D level (25 hydroxyvitamin D)

Any other info regarding these tests would be so helpful.

    Thanks so much!

I'm glad your rheumy ordered a lot of blood tests, they help to rule out a lot of conditions. There is a website called (can I say it?) labtestsonline.com It is a good source of information.

Do you have any diagnosis yet? Is this the first rheumy you have seen?

Thank you both! I'll be cruising over to the website very shortly!

I have been diagnosed with Fibro from another Rheumy. I've also JUST been diagnosed with amenorrhea & osteoporosis. (I have no kids yet.)

I also have Celiac disease/gluten intolerance.

Wondering what other wonderful things I could have! Ack!

I am happy to FINALLY being set on the right track with good doctors though!
