    Hi,

I am new to this, but I just had my lab results returned to me and my RA factor was 9. Normal range for this test is less than 14. I am curious if I could still have RA if this number has climbed over the last few years? Since I didn't think about this until today, once I called the doctors office, they were closed for the holiday weekend.

My greatest worry is that I am not getting the correct medicine to treat the right disease. Having read various websited regarding RA, it concerns me that left untreated, the damage from RA is irreversable.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Here is a website about RA that may offer you info on RA as well as info on other ailments that mimic RA. You're going to have to get a more detailed conversation with your doctor and find out if he ran other blood work or tests (see the website below) and how they came out. Good luck.
