Do you go to a regular dr. or a rheumatologist?

Does anyone out there know of a good dr. or herbalist
    in the Tallahassee area?

I'm at my wits end knowing who to go to next.

  3. I went to my dr for yrs complaining and getting nowhere until I insisted on going to a rheumatologist. She didnt like it, said I can do the same thing he does. But no way she didnt do squat until I started going to him!

I tried a rheumy, but he was a disaster and in my opinion told me he couldn't help me becuase my case is very complex (called that by my treating doc). T

The internist I see specializes in CFS and FM, both of which I have. He is always looking for ways to help his patients get better and I feel I am in good hands with him.

You can go to the immunesupport or fm support home page and click on doctor referral to find a list of docs recommended by other patients. If you are on chronicfatigue support this doesn't work. For some reason the powers that be took it off and made it complicated to get to for us, I'm not sure why. I find it confusing to try to explain to new people.

    Good luck,
    Barbara
