Has anyone who has used Nexavir found it helpful to their liver? Meaning if any of you have had raised liver enzymes where it brought them down.

For example, some liver supplments such as certain herbs heat up the liver, and some cool it down. I know Nexavir has an antinflamatory effect and is a liver extract.

I am trying to determine if it cools down the liver or heats it up. Thanks for any info. It is extremely expensive and I am trying to decide whether to take it.

One final question, both of my insurances will not cover it. They will not even consider it without a note of medial necessasity. My doc tells me because the drug is almost always used off label the letter will not help and Blue Cross confirmed that. Looking for any suggestion?

    Thanks very much.
