New Anti-viral drug for Hep C - effective w/o side effects or drug resistan

    Well, retitled this - I think this potentially could have significance for us as they are tackling treatment in a totally different way so does not have the horrible side effects of traditional hep C treatment. I hope it would be applicable to other anti-viral treatments -


    Here's a study reported in Science magazine on-line and the L.A. Times about a new drug for hepatitis C, appears to be very effective with no apparent side effects, and apparently the virus cannot become reistant to it. (sounds almost too good to be true) The study was done on chimpanzees and is already being tested in human clinical trials. It's very interesting - I'm wondering if this will lead to new avenues for treatment of other viral illnesses (such as xmrv!!!):

    that is fantastic, really good news. I am really looking forward to starting ldn after I see Dr. Taylor next week, for the vivid dreams, if nothing else! :-D
