Hi everyone. Just found your message board.
I have read alot about the guaifenesin protocal. Does anyone know if this will raise your blood pressure? I can't take cold medicine with guaif...in it. I have had fibro for several years. This last flare up during Christmas was the worse!!
I am on Ambiem, Celexa and a muscle relaxer . I also take blood pressure medicine. I'm not taking any vitamins except Vit.E because I really don't know what to take
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks so much!

Another welcome to the board. I'm not sure about the Guai either but if you change your title a bit to include the word Guai, you might get more replies.

    Take Care
    Kathy.

Most cold medicines have guai and a decongestant such as pseudoephedrine (sudafed type). The guai isn't the blood pressure raising component.

No guai doesn't raise blood pressure.
