While on the job (repetative injury over time), my back finally went out 8/05. I pushed it as I didn't want to lose my job, now I have been on Disability / Workman's Comp. since 3/06. I have been diagnosed with bulges in my lower spine and bone spurs. As physical therapy has not helped / healed this problem. I have been refered to a Psychiatrist / Psycotherapist. The Psych. thinks I may have Fibromyalgia as I have been very depressed, mood and temperment has changed and I have pain all over. We are waiting to see if the W.C. carrier will approve me seeing a Fibro Specialist. I don't know what Fibromyalgia is or why it has happened (if this is what it is) to me. I've read a little in the forum here and it seems to be a possiblity. I am 61 years old and I'm tired and ache all the time. Could this be from the Depression I am going through because of my back injury? I am finding it very difficult to adjust to a life without working. I've been looking for work, but because of my age and the fear that this desease flaring up, I walk with a limp and it's hard to get a job because of these factors... I'm at my whits end as I am so sad. Can someone please give me some feed back?
