Hi. Im new to this site. So glad to find it. I was diagnosed with EBV about a year and a half ago. My doctor is really not helping me too much. I have extreme fatigue and a foggy feeling on and off ever since I was diagnosed. Sometimes I feel pretty good and then boom!! It takes me by surprise every time. I can't beleive a person can feel this rotten and get no answers. Could I have CFS? I don't know too much about it and this is effecting every part of my life. Sometimes I think I'm crazy. Depresssion is setting in because I feel so frustrated. Do vitamins really help? I'm not taking any medication and I wonder if I can get through this by myself. Thanks for listening. Any input would be great. I feel alone with a bunch of people around me that don't seem to understand. Thanks, Deb

I have had Fibromayalgia for years, since I was a teenager, and the first thing that really helped me was Dr. Don Colbert MD's book: THE BIBLE CURE FOR CHRONIC FATIGUE AND FIBROMAYALGIA. He is a medical doctor who believes in treating things with supplements whenever possible. He explains WHY you need them and how much how often. I had taken vitamins for years but never the right dosages or times (you can't take some things with other things). He is right in line with the "CRUD" article posted to this site near the top. I also use Dr. Colberts book BIBLE CURE FOR SLEEP DISORDERS and his book BIBLE CURE FOR STRESS AND ANXIETY
The three of these books used together ( or rather his regimines in them) have given me energy and clear headed thinking for the first time in my adult life. 25 years suffering. I am almost symptom free for the past year, just a few minor flares, but that is often when I slack off on the supplement schedule.

I have Epstein Barr Virus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. It seems to take a while to get a diagnosis unless your physician is knowledgable about these illnesses. If not, take some literature in with you the next time you go and give it to the doc and talk to him about it. If you get no answers from him then maybe it's time to see another Doc. Good luck.

Sorry you're not well, I hope you start to feel better soon.

Yes, Epstein Barr virus is heavily implicated in the onset of CFS, as its chronicity tends to result in an overactive and somewhat disregulated immune system. You might want to have a look at my post 'Latest on CFS from UK's top specialist' for further info. There are some suggestions for therapy in there.

    Best wishes,

Thank you for the replys. I've felt kind of alone dealing with this and hearing others that understand helps alot. It seems that ever since this EBV thing my nerves are shot and I'm experiencing alot of anxiety and depression. I hope to learn alot on this site and it seems also to meet some great people who cae and understand. thanks again. Deb
