Hi Everyone! I am new to the forum and thank you so much for all of the information! I am recently diagnosed, and am learning to advocate for myself through the Kaiser Permanente system.

What tests should I advocate to have done? I have appointments with different docs all this week and have information for them ready, journals of symptoms, and I want to also ask for testing . . .

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

I take it that you've been dx'd thru a process of exclusion (i.e. connective tissue disorders ruled out via ESR, ANA etc.) If not, then the likes of lupus, lyme & RA need to be ruled out through appropriate tests. Neuro examinations like MRI's and VEP's aren't necessary unless you're having severe neurological problems.
If I were you, I'd have myself checked for:

    Thyroid function
    B-12 and Folate levels
    Candida antibody titre
    Food intolerances.

These are tests that are often overlooked but which often yield positive results in PWFM. And when you've dealt with these areas, your body will be in a much better state to deal with anything else.
    good luck!
