Thank you all so much for your prayers. My aunt who had been biten by the brown recluse spider and was hospitalized last week is home now. She got to come home

on Thanksgiving. When they took her off her heart meds she has been on since the late 70's she immediately started getting better. So they are thinking that was a big part of the problem.

Her colonoscopy and the tests they did came back normal. They widened the ring to the esophugus. However the maybe not so good news is one of her blood tests came back saying she has RA. She will be seeing a specialist about that soon.

My cousin emailed again yesterday and said she was even stronger than the day before when he saw her. So that is amazing. He wanted to be sure and thank all of you and still requested continued prayers for her. She has lost 40 pounds since June without trying and needs to get some weight back.

Thanks again. Just one more testimony of the power of prayer.

That sounds so encouraging, Nancy. I wonder if these meds have been causing problems all along and she wasn't aware of what they were doing to her. RA is not good news. I will pray for that.

On a similar note, my BIL is home from the hospital and expecting to have surgery in 2 wks. The terrible symptoms he was having were traced to the chemo drugs he was on! Once they stopped the drugs, he felt better and, if there are no metatasteces to the bones, he will have surgery with an excellent chance of recovery. There is still the "if" about the cancer in the bones but we are hopeful. So many of the drugs that help us can also do much to harm us. As we here all know.

Glad you had a safe trip and a good visit with your family.

    Welcome home!
    Love, Pepper

Thank you Lord. That is such good news!!!!!! Man God is so good in answering our prayers. I am amazed at Him deciphering our prayers through our brain I hope Nancy she doesn't have ra but if she does she sounds like a strong woman and has lots of support and of course we are here for you with our many opinions. I think we need to start a praise board eh.

So glad to hear about the improvement of your aunt. PTL that they did something about her old medications. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise to get her the attention she needed.

Also great news on her test. I know you must be much relieved.

Thanks so much for your prayers. If she has RA she is going to need more as I am sure you that have it know. One step at a time. I wasn't sure she was going to make it out of the hospital so this is amazing. Thank you Jesus.

Yes, Cath I agree that a Praise board would be good. Maybe even an answer to prayer thread of something like that. It is great to have the prayer requests and then such a faith builder to see answers. Thanks again,
