Is there any way to have candidisis(s?) if you never have yeast infections. My spit test show strings coming down but I never get yeast infections.

Any advice or experiences with this?

I said the same thing to my daughter's doctor. He said vaginal yeast is TYPICALLY not seen in someone her age, usually after a woman has had children, so just because she doesn't have vaginal yeast, doesn't mean there isn't yeast in her body.

Now, I know Lisa has had yast issues and has not had children, but has been pregnant. So, that's just what he said is TYPICAL.

Hope this helps, I'm sure others will chime in! Also, men have yeast infections and they wouldn't be vaginal LOL

I am 30 years old and only have had one yeast infection my whole life. I have been pregnant only once but I lost it early.

Anyone know if it is possible to still have candidasis?
