Has anyone come across any good books where the person has suffered long chronic illnesses, and how they coped?

    Needing some perspective here.

    Thanks & LIGHT********carole

It's called "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes." She developed MS. She had it for five years when the book was written. Doesn't sound like her own case at that point was anything like as severe as what we live with every day, but it was still a good book for how a person copes.

"Shattered: Life With M.E." is the best one I've read. It has interviews of a lot of people with ME (like or the same as CFS). Those people are TOUGH!

Prickles, it's amazing all you are able to do! Let us know when your book comes out???? Please???? :D

I can do very little, but I give every day my all, and try to keep a sense of myself, though everything else is being stripped away.
