I didn't know she had leukemia but it was pneumonia which caused her death. She was so respected and loved by everyone who knew her. We all enjoyed her movies. She will be missed.

Yes, she was very witty and creative. I really enjoyed her book "I Feel Bad About My Neck". if you haven't read it, it's a hoot. She died so young at 71. She contributed a lot to our world.

Was looking back at old letters to my aunt. Didn't want to repeat myself.
Anyhoo last fall I was telling her about a couple books I read. One of
them was "I Feel Bad About My Neck." Also read her last book. The
title sounds like I could have written it myself. "I Remember Nothing".

She had a very interesting life, worked in various fields, wrote screenplays
like "When Harry Met Sally". One of her husbands was the Watergate
    reporter Carl Bernstein.

Was supposedly about her marriage to Bernstein. It was a great movie but reminded me too much of my own. Evidently, her third marriage was a charm. I'm glad she finally found happiness.

She was on "Morning Joe" talking about the book about hating her neck. She was hilarious.

I once went out with a retired screenplay fixer. He was called in when a screenplay just wasn't working. He knew all the Ephron family and had great admiration for them.

    Love, Mikie
