Well, I am smoking again and have been for about a month and a half. I swore if I could last a month that would be that, but this time I found for the entire 3 months I quit, I was extremly anxious, just about jumping out of my skin, with the patch and without.

I am going to make another attempt in September, after my son is in school for a week or two. Having him here with me 24/7 and trying to quit does not mix. I only smoke outside so that is a good thing.

It might help to downgrade where you allow yourself to do it. I forbid myself to bring any smokes with me on outings, like the park, going to events, driving, etc. It was hard in the beginning, but I've gotten used to it. I think it's so much habit, and if we eliminate/ stop alot of habit there will be less problems quitting.

How funny, I'm supporting you, and have no intention of quitting myself,,,LOL! I'm down to 5 a day and have been for 3 years, it works for me.

Good luck in your attemt down the road.

I know how difficult it is to stop smoking, but often
times it takes more that one try for most of us. I quit
"raw turkey" 26 mos. ago after having tried several times
in the past! I know you will do it successfully when you
    are ready.
