    Social Media (3:00–4:00 p.m.) — Join us and our colleagues from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to learn how the Department is using social media to improve health outcomes.

    Monday November 8, 2010

    Quick Health Data Online (10:00–10:30 a.m.) — Stop by and learn how to use Quick Health Data Online to find and compare women’s health indicator data for your county or state.

    BodyWorks (10:30–11:00 a.m.) — A program designed to help parents and caregivers of adolescents improve family eating and activity habits. Stop by and learn about materials that are free to certified trainers and how to enroll in the program.

(11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) — A national bone health campaign aimed at helping girls ages 9-14 and their parents understand the importance of building strong bones through calcium intake and physical activity.     Breastfeeding (9:45–10:15 a.m). — The Surgeon General, Dr Regina Benjamin, plans to release very soon a call to action to promote breastfeeding. Stop by to learn how you can assist breastfeeding mothers by encouraging them to breastfeed, listening to their concerns, and supporting their decisions.
