I don't want to cause another big flare. I have some sinus or throat infection that my hubby has. Right under my right sinus in the back of my throat is a Big ol' swollen bump - I suspect it is a gland or a node but it hurts all the way down the right side of my neck more than normal and all up into my right ear. I feel icky. anything I should do to keep it from causing a flare again?

I have found that drinking hot lemonade will help drain the swollen nodes. Chewing Aspergum helps with the pain, but most places no longer sell it. Eckerds Drug will order it for you. You can also gargle with Listerine.

Try the zinc and eccinacea lozenges too and take some extra Vitamin C.

I hope you are feeling better. Don't forget to drink lots and lots of water.

    Love, Mikie

You are always full of helpful info. My doctor called me in a script for Zithro or (Z-pack) 5 day treatment that did zilch for me last time. I will load up on the vitamin C tonight and Olive Leaf. Thanks
